What a POS, guy he slashed only played THREE NHL games too.
Still trying to convince us DeAngelo wasn't a problem? Haha

I'm Georgiev's biggest hater but that wasn't much of a slash. Almost looked like a goalie version of a pat on the back like "it's ok".
Well, it was in frustration. He apologized for it later after the game.

While all the Georgiev haters probably drool over this, it should be stated that this was pretty tame in comparison to what MacKinnon does in that team. Remember what Zadorov told about him?
“If you miss a pass in practice, he would skate over and literally scream at you,” he told the Russian reporter. “If the puck ends up in his skates—not even his skates—if it misses his stick by a tiny bit, like 15 centimeters in front of the blade of his stick, he doesn’t move his stick to catch the puck. He stops everything, turns around and slaps the puck back at you. He is not going to try and catch any puck he doesn’t like during practice—just to show you that you made a shitty pass.”
Obviously, being one of the best players in the world, you get a bit more leeway than Georgiev who is an league average goalie, having not so great start to a year. But I think people try to read a bit too much on stuff like this. Will behaviour like his or Nates make people roll their eyes every once in a while? Probably. But it will also not make them hate 'em over it. I roll my eyes every once in a while for one of my temperamental co-workers, get over it in 10 minutes, and then we go for beers after the day is done.

Good for Gudbranson. Cousins is gutless and if the refs want the players to police the game, let them.
I do not know how that wasn't a Major/Game Misconduct.

He turtled after the hit. He turtled after being attacked. If he squared up after the hit, it's over... or if he was thrown out of the game.

Bryan Rust is injured. He plays on the Penguins top line. That team is in trouble.

Has anyone been watching the Sharks? Granlund was terrible in Pittsburgh. He has been very good in San Jose. The Sharks finished a 6 game road trip. They beat the Devils, Islanders and Red Wings. The Sharks rallied to beat the Islanders and Red Wings. That Red Wings game was crazy. The Sharks scored two SHG on the same PK. Last night, they rallied to tie up the game against Vegas. They lost in the shootout. Hertl has been great. The Sharks can't defend but they can score goals. Most of the NHL goaltending is subpar with less an 90% save %.

San Jose lost to the Bruins and Rangers on the trip. The Sharks went 3-2-1 on the trip.

Looks like Duclair suffered a head injury last night. Kolesar is a big dude. Didn't seem to be a dirty hit.

Someone on the mainboards said he hasn't had a normal off ice life since Minne. He recently divorced his wife who was apparently not very good for him. She also had a miscarriage at one point so I guess it's been a rough time for him. I always like Granlund when he was in Minnesota, would have loved him here. San Jose is a good fit for someone like him, no pressure right now.
