I don't buy into the emphasis on momentum from game to game, especially when you're traveling like 3k miles and have multiple days between games, but man--no idea how Florida gets up for game 7. Just a totally deflating reversal of fortunes.

The pressure is on EDM to win the cup. I don´t think McDavid or Hyman can replicate a run like this.

Every psychologist will tell that nothing that has happened matters when the game starts on Monday. It´s about winning one board battle, winning one period and in the end winning one game. I hope FLA wins but I will also be happy to see Leon with the cup in Cologne. May the better team win.

The Panthers are like my love life; just can't close the deal.

I've lost a lot of respect for Draisaitl. McDavid, yea he's a gamer. Leon is a loser.

Before these playoffs I liked and respected Drai, not anymore.

That being said my respect and admiration for McDavid is through the roof. I have to suspend my disbelief that he is actually doing what he's doing and not just with the flashy offensive stats, he's all around a pretty terrific leader and generation defining hockey player.

The lack of adjustments and timely time outs by Maurice reminds me of Sullivan and a very inexperienced Bylsma. Except Sullivan and Maurice are veteran coaches that never understand when to use it to settle their team down.

Florida trying to do too much after whistle gymnastics to earn powerplays they can't score on, Sullivan is likely watching this perplexed as to why they aren't winning with that stellar game plan of sticking to their game.

Bobrovsky is now so deep into his head he's probably just completely done. The tough part is Stolarz has played all of 1 game in the playoffs and that's a tough game to throw him into for Game 7 which means he won't play for sure. Maurice, when it was 3-0, should have put in Stolarz immediately and called a time out.

Last 3 games Bobrovsky has allowed 12 goals, that's brutal. The Panthers offense just completely dried up as well, 5 goals for in that same span. If you're Tkachuk, Barkov, Verg, and Reinhart, you're taking the time to clear your head and just shaking off the pressure a little because when E-Rod is the bloke with the most goals in the finals for you, you need to step the f*** up. Not a slight to E-Rod but he shouldn't be your leader.

The panthers really need to score the first goal on Monday to get the crowd going and their confidence up.
The Panthers need to show up on time. These past three games the Panthers remind me of the Penguins we've seen the past two seasons, where they'd only show up after a shitty first or second period and already in a massive hole.

Honestly, I'm kind of just hoping the Oilers pull it off at this point. Them fighting back with their backs against the wall combined with Florida deciding that showing up for the first couple of periods is optional after going up 3-0 in the series makes me think they deserve it more.

Get excited for Alex Wennberg to be the ROCK this team's been missing at 3C for years, baybeeeee. Half a decade, north of $4M AAV. Get it done, Dubas!
5pts in 19 games with the Rangers, completely invisible in the playoffs - Sullivan is sporting wood that makes viagra jealous. I do think it'd be comical for Wennberg to escape Tortorella in Columbus only to end up with 2 of his clones in Pittsburgh.

PS - The only player that's a free agent on the Rangers I want on the Pens and have wanted on the Pens for years is Jack Roslovic. Moving him back to C for the 3c spot and putting him with O'Connor and Puustinen is something Sullivan can't f*** up, but will try to anyway. Roslovic's best years in Columbus came as a C, a right handed shot, can produce, and a smooth skater as well.

Utah should be the most active team this summer. You can't move a team into a city like Utah and be the boring team that Arziona Coyotes were because the owner was cheap. You want fans to be excited and we've seen the Kraken and VGK cement that fandom by being contenders in their first years, VGK more so with their insane spending and then winning the cup, but Seattle still is a promising team even if Francis needs to relinquish duties to Botterill after his botch job.

Utah needs to be looking at spending and adding some talent to surround Keller, Schmaltz, Maccelli, Cooley, Moser, etc. As much of a good story Ingram was, Vejmelka and Ingram are not the goalies you will get anywhere with really.

IF you're Utah's GM you'd be leveraging the cap strapped teams to take on some of the better options of big contracts that help the team while taking some assets in picks as a helper as well. Instead of a dumping ground for LTIR and bad contract and bad players like they were for a decade. Utah should be trying to convince Tampa that Cirelli to their team is the best move so they can add cap space to keep Stamkos and fill that roster out.

Yup. Can’t see it though although it only takes 1 game.

When the series was 3-0 at least Edmonton were competitive. Florida isn’t competitive now. They’re the Blue Jackets.
Hence I put little money on them at 0:3…looks promising….can’t really risk in life if you are betting on best
