Ridly Grieg knew exactly what he was doing last night, he knew he was going to get a reaction, but Rielly's actual actions deserve a hefty suspension.

I don't have an issue with Rielly going at Grieg a bit, like a little shove or something, but the head shot is way too far.

I think this is the correct take. Leaves fans are absolutely embarrassing themselves with their horrific howls for blood on the main board and their own cesspool

The Sens should be docked a first round pick for all this. Just completely unacceptable behaviour for Grieg to start all this.
Is this sarcasm or is this the worst post I've seen in weeks on our forum?

Getting back to actual hockey, P L Dubois had arguably his best game as a King last night scored a goal, had some big hits and was generally a shit disturber. Now I've seen this before with him where he looks like the kind of player that everyone thinks he can be and them disappears.
Atleast he did for roughly half a season here

Not entirely but they all, except Hrudy, said he was justified in taking action, but maybe not in the head next time mmmkay?

That’s incredible. Grieg does a slapper on an EN in front of the home town fans, and that justifies Reilley getting miffed and cross checking him in the neck/face?

Most of that panel and Leafs fans need to give their balls or vulva a tug.

I remember when there used to be fun celebrations in hockey. It was entertaining. Selanne's rookie year was the best. Have fun, especially for the home crowds. That's the entire point of this game.

Meanwhile, headshots 5 seconds after the whistle, skating over to deliver a headshot with a stick is Assault. It certainly isn't a hockey play. You can ruin the rest of a person's entire life with a concussion. There's no possible way to pretend this wasn't an intent to injure.

Leafs coach thought Reilly's action was appropriate.

You think!

Oh no, you can't suspend a Maple Laff, the WWE/NHL wouldn't dare!

SN panel came across as even more of the Laff's lackeys that they usually are and that's saying something. Shame on know it all Jen Bottle it All!

So he gets a new coach and decides to bring his A game?

Totally agree. If I was the d on that play I would ABSOLUTELY go after him - but like a man and not a p***y.

I'd give him a good shove and ask him if he wanted to go.

Reilly surprised him with a disgusting crosscheck to the neck and then not sure if you noticed but when everyone gathered he quickly left the ice.

What. A. Bitch

Hmmmm maybe PLD has an issue with authoritative coaches? I know Bones seems like a cuddly teddy bear but the fire burns bright in him and he's shown he's not afraid to speak his mind publicly, so I could see that being more pronounced behind closed doors.

The good news for DPOS is that there is a precedent for hits after an empty net goal with Schief on Evans

I could argue that the Schief play was almost a hockey play in they the time from when the puck left Evans stick to contact was nothing, and had thr pick gone off the post by accident, schief was just taking his man out of the play

The Reilly hit is WAY worse.in that it wasn't a hockey play at all, was premeditated and primary contact was stick to head

Since it's generally accepted that every playoff game suspended is worth 2 regular season games, logic would state that Reilly's suspension should START at 8 games and go up from there
