Not a bad Saturday for hockey.

Jets - win.
Leaves - do *not* win. No. Win-free.
H'oilers - crushing loss. BSD in net for LA.

Went back and watched Rielly’s hissy fit. What a bitch haha, Leafs look like a first round exit team again, love to see it.

Cherry on the cupcake was Craig Simpson whining about how “unnecessary” Grieg’s slap shot was. He’s always been shoving his nose into the Leafs bumholes, but that was embarrassing even for him

Just watched that lowlight of the Leafs Sens game. Just in case anyone needed another reason to hate the f***ing Leafs.

Reilly Cross checking a guy after he scores. Reminded me of Dale Hunter's hit on Turgeon in 93. And losers online and and Sportsnet defending that crap. That team and fanbase are packed full of classless pieces of shit.

The problem with Reilly's hit was it was after the play was way over, he hunted him down and a cross check to the head because he took a slap shot to the head. Now Grieig might of be pissed that earlier in the game he ate a high stick to the head from McCabe in front of the net and wanted to punctuate his feelings to the refs and Leafs. Anyways the optics of a player going after a player after he scores just makes the league look bush, the player has every right to score anyway he wants he could of skated backwards and put the puck threw his legs into the net it doesn't give the right to player other player to take his head off. Toronto media and defenders of his actions should be ashamed of themselves for condoning a violent act that has no place in hockey.

I'm saying one game because he's a Leaf . Some stupid defense like well the guy never got hurt , lost blood or his helmet , just watch .

The optics of what Reilly did looked real bad and if he doesn't game several games teams are going to start taking more liberties even after the play is over. That action deserves 5+ games for the hit to the head and also for the action of the hit well after the goal was scored.

Agreed and if that was a Jet we would be lucky if all they got was 5 games but i will be super surprised if Rielly gets more than 1 game because that's not fair to a Toronto Maple Leaf you know.

Not having a previous infraction should have no bearing on what happen to Reilly it didn't with Perron and Dillon. You first offence isn't a get out of jail card so a player can think he can 2 hand a guy on his head and claim it's my first offence so give me my fine.

Didn't work for Scheifele either, 4 game suspension in the playoffs was huge.
