Took a look at the POS video for Dillon - what a joke
They cite his lack of repeat history and that Acciari had his head down... then give him 3 games

Trouba gets a fine Nov 25 for high sticking and then a 2 game suspension for elbowing two months later - both head contact
Hartman gets suspended for tripping this year 2 games then only a fine for high sticking Perfetti a month later, AFTER being suspended for Ehlers last year and fined for slash on Andersson... AND fined twice the year before - Hartman's gotta be pals with PArros

Like just a quick glance makes it look like the policy is you get more games for 'you should have known better' than 'that's a dirty play and the ref caught you so better luck next time' and even less for 'I know you lost your shit and tried to kill someone but its a mans game'

You know when even 90% of main boards posters are agreeing, that this ruling is brutal and just reeks of DOPS either having a hate-on for the Jets, or having a soft touch when it comes to big markets. Same with the Schiefel hit on Evans ... we've seen worse get less, we've seen WAY worse get only an extra game or two.

What is Parros' issue with Winnipeg? He still played a few seasons when the Jets re-entered the league but I'm not aware of any particular issues. You'd think if he'd have a prejudice against anyone it would be the Leafs or Islanders.

Yeah it looks like a mutual decision. Gawanke has a contract waiting for him back in Germany and prefers that over being an AHL lifer. SJ likely sees no future for him beyond that.
