Glad Vegas is out.

Dallas has the ugliest jerseys.

Kind of hope they lose to the Avs and Tanev gets dispirited with the team and wants to come home.
I love the Stars jerseys lol, gotta get me a Tanev jersey someday if he never comes back to Van

Yeah I thought they look great, that shade of green looks like the plutonium paper weight in Homer Simpson's drawer.

Couple of minor irks for me on their jersey. I like consistency between jerseys. So the stars having green on their shoulders on the whites but no color (black) shoulders on the green. Plus the striping is different between the white and green.

Lmao, does Vegas actually have any fans? All their game threads are like 2 pages. It's been more active in here about their game for the past 5 pages.

Their arenas are pretty full, but yeah I don't get why only 2 pages in GDT.

Bruce Cassidy in post game interview played the part, used "injuries" wink wink nudge nudge as the perfect excuse.

Yeah, you're lucky De Niro wasn't around to shove a cattle prod up your ass and pound your hand with a hammer.

vegas not as on the ball as i expected. dallas was not in the script.
Everything seems up in the air this year. No one dominant team, every team has some serious defects. I don't see Boston getting through the next round, but could see any of Florida, New York or Carolina winning the Cup.

Dallas or the Avs are probably most likely to represent the West. Vancouver is certainly considered the weakest team left in the West by the media and fans, but the could absolutely put a run together. So could Edmonton, although I think their goaltending and D will ultimately let them down.

A weird year.

Think it happened last year too.

Even more f***ed up was playing those covid make up games during rhe playoffs.
I remember it was not the first time too. Something to do with one time, most teams sat around waiting for one series that went to seven games, then it ended up a few days of no hockey on TV after that series ended because of building availability.

Hertl was a bad addition. His knees have been messed for awhile and now after coasting for 3-4yrs they need him to step up and play with urgency?

Vegas game day thread, 2 pages.

Really passionate fanbase they have over there.
This is something I've often wondered about the fan-base in T Mobile Arena in Vegas. How many are passionate, loyal season ticketholders who live and die with the team? And how many are casual hockey fans taking a break from the casinos?

I know the club has structured their ticket sales to ensure that the mega-casinos can't buy up huge blocks of seats for every game. And there's no doubt the arena is loud and raucous. And the fans seem passionate clad in their Knights jerseys.

But I've wondered what happens beyond the confines of 'the strip'. Do fans participate in social media debates about their team; or follow the entry draft; the transaction board; or the Henderson Silver Knights minor league team, all that closely? I'd have thought at the very least they'd be stoutly defending their team's LTIR strategy.

Makes you wonder what will happen to hockey when the L.A. Raiders and the soon to be relocated MLP Vegas Athletics are all vying for attention and the almighty dollar.

I feel like it's just a bunch of people who party at the games but don't know anything about hockey.
I think a lot of people who could afford the games are there in the arena or working during game time as well. Also they got a team during the collapse of forums.
