Hyman going down was massive. He played a role similar to Burrows in that top 6. No coincidence McDavid and Draisaitl looked worse as they had way less open ice out there.
aaaaaaand I give zero shits about this, because Canucks had no Boeser in game 7, and we used our AHL goalie in round 2, have we had demko they had no business beating us, but thanks for the explanation.

Yep. Injuries happen in the playoffs. The Oilers have had horseshoes up their ass with respect to critical injuries for a good long while - they were due.
 
Edmonton looked unstoppable during their playoff push. wtf happened

Don't know why Skinner is getting the blame... Oilers scored 3 goals in the last 2 games.

Their stars in McDavid, Draisaitl, RNH and Bouchard disappeared when it mattered most. They were always a flawed team that was going to outscore their problems. Their best forwards in the finals were Perry and Podkolzin. Missing Hyman was also a huge loss. He's basically their version of Reinhart.
