? I thought he was really classy actually.

Even thanked Winnipeg.

And Maurice probably would have won one in Winnipeg if he didn't have Hellysuck.

Normally, I'd agree. But Maurice does this to every team. He said the same while going on about how the media and fans will eat them alive.

He genuinely means what he says, but he's being a troll too.

At the end of the day, the Leafs actually gave the Panthers a tougher series than anyone, especially the Oilers.

The speculation now is what happens with McDavid. Will he sign another contract in Edmonton? You'd have to say that the answer is 'doubtful'. Probably more of a certainty than even Hughes leaving Vancouver.

But if the Pacific Division ever loses both McDavid and Hughes-it won't be nearly as entertaining a division.
The talk on the boards and CAD sports radio will be all McDavid leaving if he doesn't sign an extension by around a week after July 1. Basically, everyone will say, the only negotiations is for Edm to ask Connor what his terms are and agree to them. Be it 1 to 8 year term, full NMC, maximum SB. Whatever.

Just my personal opinion, mods if this crosses any lines, please feel free to remove it. Apologies in advance!

I'm absolutely thrilled the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup. Last year's playoffs revealed the true colors of a certain Canadian fanbase honestly, the most entitled group I've ever encountered. Seeing them flood social media to declare Canucks fans "the worst" was eye-opening, especially when I felt our trolling on X was far funnier and more clever.Personally, there are two teams I'll never cheer for. First, the Maple Leafs solely because of that overwhelming sense of entitlement. Second (I won't name them, but they might have one of the league's top players), it's frustrating how they demand to be seen as "Canada's team." Previous Canadian finalists like the Canucks, Senators, or Canadiens never pushed that narrative. Honestly? I'm happy for Florida. Seeing them win even softens my dislike for Brad Marchand lifting the Cup at least he did it with the Panthers, not the Bruins. the way Edmonton was decisively defeated in the final? A perfectly satisfying end to the season.

Edmonton is lucky to have even gotten it to 6 games

Time leading in Stanley Cup Final

Panthers 255:49*
Oilers 33:51

*Set all-time record for a championship series
