Unfortunately, Florida, Boston and Tampa have all made it to OT tonight. So points for everyone. Detroit is down 2-0 against NYI so far...

Edit - Tampa lost in OT.

Edit 2 - Boston won in OT. :(

And Detroit comes back to tie it.

Yes, it's real.... Penguins lost the game, with thirteen seconds left on the game, while on a power play...

Is Kristen trying to be a legitimate journalist? Why is she ragging on a former GM that was fired? It's such an unprofessional approach. You wonder why people think the media in this city is bush league.

Ragging on a former GM? I don't see any GM mentioned in this tweet, what are you referring to?

Detroit and NYI tied again.

Pens gifted their second 5 on 3 in the game with 2 minutes left and give up a shorty to lose 4-3.

They’re definitely on the same declining trajectory as Washington. Would be a hell of a story to see them at the bottom of the standings 20 years after the Ovi and Crosby drafts.

They might actually have to fire Sullivan soon. He won't be a free agent for long.

I always felt the rate of decline in Pittsburgh and Tampa could impact the possibility Toronto ends up with Sullivan or Cooper one day. Sullivan seems to be headed for the exit sooner than expected though.

I just hope the Sens don't spend money and make a coaching change to pick him up.

I somehow feel like they'll be able to avoid Mcavoy's suspension. It is the Bruins after all.

They definitely are. Only difference is the Caps have accepted it while the Pens are denying it.

They won't be able to avoid suspension on that.. The question being, Andersson just got four games without prior history, and McAvoy has prior history... watch him get three....

Pens aren't amazing but they aren't this bad. Sullivan might be the problem. Lets see if Dubas makes a change.
I actually wondered if we and Pens got off to a bad start, if both teams just change exchange coaches. Won't happen now with our start but did cross my mind.

What does her tweet have to do with Dubas?

Someone posted the link of Adam Johnson and honestly, I can’t say there was no intention to harm.

I wouldn't doubt if there was an instinct to put a body part (leg) in the way to impede Johnson's progress moving east west, possibly in the same kind of thinking that results in a knee on knee... possibly to punish a guy on in the tradition of a big open ice hit... But definitely not to put someone's life in harm or result in the tragedy that occurred.

I've read that Pens ownership is in love with Sullivan and that's why he never got fired this summer when they cleaned house.
I get it. 2 cups and probably still a good coach, but he hasn't won a round in years, and only 1 since the last cup.

I agree. The intent was there but just not to kill someone.
Also, what I don’t like about this, esp on X, is that some are pointing out this is a racial thing bc the player is black and that’s why people are calling for murder….. which is completely false. Just hope those people would stop weaponing the race card whenever they see an opportunity to push their own agenda.

Shilton isn’t a Leafs beat reporter anymore and I’m not even sure she’s from here. As far as “ragging on a former GM” and being unprofessional in your words I don’t get that impression at all. There have been far more inflammatory and homer statements and tweets from other journalists across the NHL about other events. Even if she was still a Leafs beat reporter her tweet is hardly indicative of our media being bush league. There are plenty of actual jagoffs in this market that makes our media suck.
