Great generic response.

Feel free to elaborate on the list of players elevating their game after arriving in Toronto. The list of players that start sucking shortly after their arrival is basically every 1st pick we trade away under Dubas. The list of players having the best year of their life the moment they leave is basically every player we traded away.

But sure, some play better some play worse.. Nothing wrong with culture here
It has nothing to do with culture, more to do with fit. Hyman had hands for stones here in Toronto. What he’s doing is amazing but that was never going to happen in Toronto. His game perfectly compliments McDavid. McDavid is a pass first guy and shoots for rebounds tips.

Hyman cannot finish a skilled play that Marner sets up. How many times was he wide open after an amazing play, surprised the puck got to him and was late to react/shoot and he Whiffs or goalie saves.

Matthews/Marner don’t shoot for tips and rebounds so Hyman would not have gotten the same scoring opportunities.

The one guy the Leafs let get away was Bunting. He was the perfect fit along side Matthews and Marner and we let him go.

Montreal scores in the last second to tie Florida and Vegas coming back against Boston. Looking good.

They win of course. Lol.
Who is Mason Lohrei who scored the winner on the PP?

Boston does a good job drafting considering where there picks usually are (and the number of picks they have). Unfortunately, Poitras is out for the season, but he is another really good young player, also a late second round pick.

Useless Penguins get shutout by the Kraken, giving Seattle more false hop for the season and even less of a chance they'll sell.
Ron Francis is not a big wheeler and dealer, so I think that might be the bigger issue. In terms of playoffs, the West wild card race looks pretty decided to me.

If the regular season ends on Thursday April 18th, would they start the playoffs on Saturday? Leafs last game is on the 17th. Or would the NHL wait till Monday to start?

Pens have a lot of games in hand but they require an elite run that would put them in the no.1 tier in the league to finish the season....I don't see it.

Malkin looked so out of it.

Maybe the legs are completely gone now.

PPG last year.
He had so many chances last night. In close. Couldn't do anything with the puck.

Pit was all over Seattle for the firat two but looked like the Leafs in Game 7 and couldn't score
