Boston fans sound just like us for a lot of this year.

"We make every goalie look like Hasek" lol

13-2 High Danger chances and they are losing 1-0

Outshooting VAN 30-12

Shot attempts are 55 to 19.

They play such limp dick hockey. Not a lot of shots. Get away with a few for sure calls. Goalie saves all of their defensive blunders.

Major difference being our players should score more, but aren't for various reasons, while their players simply can't. They have a skill deficit up front.

Don't want to be too hard on Bruins fans because they're generally pretty on top of things, but their view of their team is bordering on delusional. Some of the takes on twitter I saw celebrating the coach firing as a magic bullet were dumbfounding. Their team is/was elite, elite goaltending and defending that back stops anemic offence. Last year they basically made the playoffs on the back of getting 1-1 and 2-2 games into OT and then going from there. It shouldn't be a shock that they can't win the moment goaltending goes south.

The Lindholm and Zadorov signings both qualify as deals that you know are horrendous the moment they were signed. This Bruins team is 100% on Management.

I mean Sweeney took over for Chia and kept their team very competitive for years despite their core aging / retiring. Impressive work imo.

Lindholm was definitely a desperate swing and a miss. Despite what their fans might think, I feel like a rebuild is finally on the horizon for Boston. That being said I wouldn’t be surprised if they some how find a way to turn it around and end up top of the division again either.

Sweeney still had the Bergeron/Krejci/Chara era core though.

The only member of that group left is an aging Marchand. Goaltending is pretty much the reason they weren’t this bad last year as well.

PITTS up 5-1 on VAN. Van lucky to win last night. Evening out I guess

Holloway with 2 goals in their game.

Taylor "washed up Hall" with 2 goals tonight in the 1st period

Still pissed that Boston fired Monty, and he went to St Lou. What an early Xmas gift for them, they were going nowhere until that coaching change.

You just know they are going to blow a 5-1 lead. They are so so bad. Imagine coming out to start the 3rd and letting a goal in 40 seconds in.

They blew a 4-1 lead to VAN last game they played. Or 3-1 I don't remember

One of the most shocking things to me going into the season is that some thought the Penguins might be somewhat competitive again.

They're cooked, not sure how anyone was fooled to think otherwise

The Calgary broadcast and Calgary fans are losing their minds at this too many men penalty in overtime. Since when can you hop on the ice when the player you are replacing is still 10 feet inside the defensive zone on the other side of the ice?
