And here I was fearing the Flames would end up with a top 5 pick this year.... but it looks like they might finish where they always finish... just out of the playoffs, which is fine and dandy with me.
Lol flames are in their annual “people count us out” phase. And here I was fearing the Flames would end up with a top 5 pick this year.... but it looks like they might finish where they always finish... just out of the playoffs, which is fine and dandy with me.
The Flames of the last 20 years love being just bad enough to miss the playoffs or just good enough to get in. They should have started a full rebuild last year and potentially have a good team in the early years of the new arena. And here I was fearing the Flames would end up with a top 5 pick this year.... but it looks like they might finish where they always finish... just out of the playoffs, which is fine and dandy with me.
Things might be so drastically different had they not rushed to re-sign Huberdeau. The Flames of the last 20 years love being just bad enough to miss the playoffs or just good enough to get in. Flames, as usual, have a collection of "good" players, but no elite ones...not even "Very good" players since Kadri is washed and Huberdeau too (still contribute enough despite the massive overpays))
Andersson, Weegar, Coleman, Zary, Sharagovich, Coronato....all good players and prospects but nothing exciting
but again, all depends if Wolf can continue playing a .926 save % clip if they stay in the playoff hunt
Now why would we want that? The Flames of the last 20 years love being just bad enough to miss the playoffs or just good enough to get in. They should have started a full rebuild last year and potentially have a good team in the early years of the new arena.
Every time I try turning on a Canucks game I swear it's like watching paint dry. Low shot low event
When’s the coach gonna have the meeting where he tells everyone to shoot at 20%Bore their way to wins, or losses, or whatever. Very meh team
He won’t. It’s obvious they have fragile players who would turtle at the notion. When’s the coach gonna have the meeting where he tells everyone to shoot at 20%
True, can’t be too hard on them or they will all take mental health resetsHe won’t. It’s obvious they have fragile players who would turtle at the notion.
“Why is he yelling at us again???”
Well they are 1 goal in 9 shots through 2 periods. JUst need to score on the next shot lolWhen’s the coach gonna have the meeting where he tells everyone to shoot at 20%
They play such limp dick hockey. Not a lot of shots. Get away with a few for sure calls. Goalie saves all of their defensive blunders.Just was thinking about Vancouver and their sieve less goaltending. Going to get a shutout, no question.
Lagesson suspended 3 AHL games for a choke hold... But this is fine.
Common now. The Nucks were atrocious lol. Garland had 1 wrist shot chance and they had another and that's about it. Bruins were much much much better. No dead cat bounce for the B's
DeBust embarrassed them to add salt to the wounds
their PDO will normalize any minute now....Common now. The Nucks were atrocious lol. Garland had 1 wrist shot chance and they had another and that's about it. Bruins were much much much better.
Debrusk got a puck bounce to him off of a nearly high stick from garland.
Debrusk has looked completely average this year
Time for Draisaitl to call up his buddy Pasta to get him out of that clownshow in Boston.
