In a sense I don't really care who we play in the first round, but I do think the worst opponent would be the Preds(current state). I root Vegas missing the playoffs because their cap shitshows. It would be hilarious if they would miss the playoffs. Karma at best.

I said it earlier in the season there wasn't a team to beat.

But with 10 games left, I'd say the frontrunners to win it all are the Avs, Canes, and Panthers.

On a not so ideal note, it's looking more and more likely Vegas will be our first round matchup.

The Avs have kind of an interesting schedule to close out the season. The next two weeks are pretty normal, but then the last 4 games of the year go like this:

Play on 4/9.
3 days off.
Back to back on 4/13-4/14.
3 days off.
Final game on 4/18.

Basically 6 days off out of 9. Even if they’re shooting for the Central title, there should be some short term rest in there.

(That said, last 6 games: EDM x 2, DAl, LV, WPG, and then MIN)
