Nah brother guy. It's over. Kucherov has proven that he is MacK's daddy this year.
2022 cup final says otherwise though. Let Kucherov have his Art Ross. If MacK is scoring less but Avs are winning, it means they are a much deeper team where without Kucherov Tampa isn’t going anywhere so we’ll see which team does well in the playoffs

Daddy status is not permanent and can often change. MacK was the daddy in 2022 finals. Kucherov is the daddy now. By the time the season's over, McJesus will be the uncle.

Since we’re talking regular season, I think Kucherov is the step daddy for now. In the playoffs MacK will be the real daddy again

People are funny. Extrapolating from hot streaks to predict the Art Ross race.

When McDavid had a 6 point night against Detroit, people were claiming it was his to lose. MacKinnon goes nuts on a homestand and it becomes his to lose. Kucherov has been on fire of late but he also had a 5 game period this month where he "only" had 5 points.

I don't think the race is over yet.

There's truly not a goal that Tampa scores that Kucherov is not in on. He's getting the Ross and the Hart.
No way Canadian and American sportswriters will give the Hart to a Russian winger over a Canadian center who plays a complete game. Especially in this political climate.

That’s it for that? Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeit.

Should have been way longer

I thought for sure they would sit him the rest of the regular season

Figured with his history and the optics it'd be 10 games at least. Parros probably gave him a pat on the ass after he told him the suspension.

This combined with the no punishment he received for the shit he pulled on the Rangers in 2021, you'd think that Tom Wilson was a Violent Gentleman or something.

Me trying to decide if I'm hoping for Vegas, Minnesota, or St Louis to make the last wild card spot.

I don't really give a f*** who we play against, not afraid of anyone as long as we are healthy. I'm not even including Landeskog here, even without him, we are beating anyone as long as our goaltending is average.

Not nearly enough but it doesn’t surprise me at all.

At some point, when he’s a mere shadow of the player he once was (and he’s on a decline for sure) he’ll do something stupid and they’ll give him the Raffi Torres “Just F**king Retire Already Dude” suspension.
