Byram has been trash tonight lol

He’s pretty much been trash the whole time defensively in Buffalo (and here for the last couple years). Byram is just plying his high risk offensive game and Granato is doing his thing of allowing it. I don’t think it matter much for them this season. If it results in Byram getting some offense back in his game (and so far it has), they are likely happy with that. From there they can work to round out his game. As I said when he was traded there… the rest of this season isn’t real critical for them, but the test is next year when expectations will be on Buffalo and Byram to get into the playoffs and play well. That’s when the two way game has to round out.

There was a time I would have fought you over that. Then they went and released Achtung Baby and it all went to shit. Lucky to have one song per album worth a damn since the early 90s.

Yeah… they have been downhill for most of my life and, to me, they are a bad living off their former greatness. Like Metallica.

At this point, IDGAF about winning the division. I want no part of either the Knights or Predators in the first round. The Preds look unbeatable right now and will be thirsty for revenge, and the Knights will magically be "fully healthy" and a hundred million over the salary cap. I would much, much rather take 2nd in the Central at this point and let whoever is first get f***ed up in the first round, and then take our chances in the second round against the winner when everything is warmed up.

If I had to guess, I think Dallas wins the division. Their schedule is ridiculously easy down the stretch, lots of easy layup kind of games against bottom feeders who have given up. In that case, you shoot for home ice against Winnipeg and then buckle down for a tough run to the finals. I don't think winning the division/conference would do us any favors.

This is a possibility.

I don’t put any stock into what this team looked like when we had the sack of potatoes playing 2C.
