You are thinking of the other 15 teams as one single entity. They are not. It's 15 teams vs 1 team. Anyone expecting that one team to win the cup more than 20% of the time has unrealistic assumptions.

NHL teams are a disaster when dealing with such things. I mean, up to this day we dont know what really happened with Nuke in Seattle. I mean, we basically count one and one, but the AVS really got away with it.
Insiders knew the story from the get go, and they also know what happened regarding Perry. But wont tell us because they "fear" go get cut from any further infos in the future or the teams in the NHL...

Lol no. How much does the media think about the victim when reporting about say a rape that has happened between common people? Nada. The only thing the insiders/beats are thinking is themselves and their access to people. For the Blackhawks it's obvious they are protecting their employee.
It's a shitty thing to say and sucks for the victim, but that's how it goes in real life. Probably most rape victims would like to keep it quiet, because it's a traumatic and shameful experience (even though one shouldn't feel shame for being a victim of such a horrendous crime), yet the media and police report these things every day.

They are objectively terrible and bottom 5-10 in the league.
On the people watching... there are times you're kinda forced to watch certain broadcasts if you want to watch games of certain teams. Some people also like to watch opposing team broadcasts.
I'm obviously biased but I still have no real issue with the Altitude crew. I much prefer them to the national broadcasts, especially ESPN. I really didn't like Haynes on the TV call at all, but once they replaced him with Moser, whom I realize is problematic but still not to the point where I can't watch games, I was largely okay with the broadcasts.
That said, I definitely did not appreciate Peter McNab as much as I should have while he was alive.

There are always two broadcast crews. They're hate watching, so they can bitch about a crew they know they hate. It's masochistic behavior.
There are a lot of instances where you can only get one. Heaven forbid you're a fan of any other team in the Avs' blackout region...

I feel like you're making excuses for people who are intentionally making themselves miserable. I never watch certain crews. I get that the Avs crew can be biased, and Moser is grating, but I skip crews that I dislike, and I've never had to miss a game to do it.
Interesting to see the first team to take advantage of the Corey Perry situation is the Vancouver Canucks.
I'm speaking to the realities of it. If you're a Hawks fan living in Colorado Springs, you are forced to watch Altitude's coverage unless it is a national TV game. Same for any other team. That's a very real situation that would force people to have to listen to Moser.

McDavid has 12 points in his last 3 games. All 3 Oiler wins.
He is amazing, but he is not 3 points per game good.
