Two different Blackhawks insiders have said that per a source inside the organization, that Bedard rumour is 100% false.

Two things: it's the Blackhawks. Yes, different management, but still not a great track record on murky stuff. Secondly, what did the Blue Jackets PR department do in the Babcock situation? Denied everything at first.

I'm not saying I believe that rumour, I think the earlier rumour of him getting shitfaced in Columbus is probably more likely. But we'll see I guess. If we ever find out.
