Wow, Generational Matthews now #3 on his team behind Marner and Nylander. No injury excuse aside from maybe eyes hurt from camera flashes from his modeling career.

Contract year Nylander is a boss.
Nylander is the best of all 4 of them by a long shot. He's the only one that bothers to show up in the playoffs.

IMO, Marner always shows up too, but he gets all offensive and defensive responsibility piled on him. While Marner is breaking his neck on the PK's Generational lad is on the bench picking the nostrils looking to get back to cherry picking and avoiding conflict.

Demko absolutely robs a Shark on a huge leaky chance in all alone. SJ almost up 1-0

Kraken seemingly exist just to lose to the Flames. What a putrid game. Both of these clubs are not that good. Seattle play entire 3rd period doing nothing but chippng puck out. Absolutely dominated in third because they were shitting their pants for an entire period. You could bet a house that Kraken were going to find out a way to lose this game.

Dunn gets outmuscled by Mangypane to the net for tying goal. Of course Flames most hated player scores the winner. f*** off Kraken.

Kraken get the loser point essentially for throwing the game.

Kraken are 0-6 against the Flames at Climate Pledge arena. Must be reducing all energy expenditure. How do you even manage to lose every freaking time to the Flames? Boggles the mind.

There it is. Worst fear starting to manifest. Oilers can't beat a piñata with full eyes on the prize. Flamers weather their below expected goalscoring with solid 1A/1B goaltending through the early season and now the underperforming are starting to score with Uberdough and bigbreadman helping Seattle cough up a third period lead with under five minutes to go.

Bit of a mirage. Seattle anytime I've seen them this season look awful. They deserved everything that happened except getting a point.

Gonna mention this too but wtf happened to Eberle? Just looks brutal out there. Started to count the mistakes he was making out there, just gave up. The guy makes 5 wrong plays in a shift. For a vet player he's just goofing it out there. Guy could never play in own end. This season is certainly the Eberle you don't miss.

I didn't watch the game. Can't watch the Flamers and I knew how this one would play out as it did. Flamers are starting to get points and the paycheque guys are starting to contribute. Just another poke in the eye of nightmare season.

I've got a lot of time for Seattle. Generally will watch them if their game is on. At least a team I know will bring a high work effort and go to greasy, tough places to score. Not sure what's up with Eberle but he can play loose at times.

Seattle third was completely disgusting Imagine just trying to protect a one goal lead for 20 mins with your back up goalie in. Wht possible bad thing could happen? Seattle were outshot 16-3 in the third and the whole period could barely get the puck out being outworked everywhere. Flames couldn't even score, but Mangy basically bodied a puck in practically skating it into the net. Classic Flames goal, they all count...

Didn't occur to either Dunn or the goalie that leaving a Flame with the puck in your crease and an open net was probably a bad idea.

Kraken were panicking the entire 3rd period and were shit in OT.

My take away watching these two teams is not much to see.

Meh, what's another first round exit to add to their CV?

meh, they're just climbing back to mediocrity as per usual
Zadorov, Hanafin are still bouncing out of Calgary as soon as they can
Lindholm too which sucks cause I want them to sign him to a retirement contract

No question that comes into play during the games as well

Next thing it will be no weekend games in the USA

They don’t like scheduling games against NFL either. Bettman caters to the sunbelt babies who can’t even sell tickets for a fraction of what we pay and bends the rules as he sees fit to please them.
