Well their only real alternative unless Holtby wants to play is to contact San Jose for one of their 3 goalies.
Or maybe Allen?

Run with what you have got and accrue space
I should have said don't put him on ltir sorry. Make a small move if you have to, leave him off of it so you can accrue and at least have the option open. Or if something does come up you can put them on ltir later I believeI don't believe that you accrue cap space when you are using LTIR.
- When a player is on LTIR, a team may exceed the salary cap. Despite the common misconception, LTIR does not remove a Cap Hit from a team’s overall Cap Hit, it just potentially allows the team to exceed the salary cap.
- While on LTIR, Cap Space is no longer accrued, meaning any portion of the LTIR pool not used cannot be used later.

What’s wrong?NHL and Minnesota Wild just stepped on a potential landmine here. These are shirts they have released pictures of for Law Enforcement Night. View attachment 576455
What’s wrong?
Thanks didn’t realize that. The Blue line flag has become a symbol for White supremacists in the states....
I didn’t either. Good to know.Thanks didn’t realize that.
Did jack's ancestors drown kittens and puppies for a living for this poor guy to have this kind of luck? Geez louise, is this guy cursed or what?Insanely bad news for Vegas. The Pacific is bad but not so bad that they can coast with no goalie into the playoffs. Good chance Eichel will be missing playoff hockey one again.

A Hockey team made a misstep attempting to honour police officers. That is worth discussing on a hockey forum. I’m not attempting to change the narrative on the symbol, that’s already happened, and is unfortunate. But it is what it is. Pretending symbols haven’t been hijacked, doesn’t change reality. Stick your head in the sand if you prefer, and you are correct in stating political arguments have no place here, but hockey is attempting to be inclusive, and they screwed up here.Rubbish!
Its honoring fallen police officers.
Anyway you shouldn't politize this on a hockey forum.

Vegas to offer sheet Oettinger
The Dallas situation is interesting. I wonder when they'll sign their two RFAs and which player(s) they may need to move out to make it work.

He was in a bad situation with a bad team in Buffalo, but he couldn’t transcend it. And tossing salt once he was out the door, he’s pissy.
In another irony, he just missed most of the highest scoring season since a few years before he was born. It’s a little bit funny, don’t say it isn’t.
But, and not that I think Vegas is any good, he’s got time on his side.

What’s worse, the constant ‘Matthews to Arizona’ threads, or that Arizona, who is tanking, is moving to a college arena and making the cheapest seat $90, and somehow nobody sees the massive train wreck that’s coming?
I’d happily pay $90 for the cheapest seat in a tiny arena. Pay a little more than that now for 2nd last row at the ACC.He was in a bad situation with a bad team in Buffalo, but he couldn’t transcend it. And tossing salt once he was out the door, he’s pissy.

I've been to Tempe Arizona...One of my favourite cities in the US. A young hockey player in Tempe would be an incredible experience. It's beautiful. Golf, skiing/snowboarding (yup), College football/basketball, beautiful gals, incredible college music and bar scene, beautiful scenery/nature, Grand Canyon, and a not so bad drive to California and/or Vegas. It's a very cool place.
And no pressure to win.
Getting paid millions and no one cares if you win or lose for the next 3 years.
