They’ve got experience, clutch players, and refs on their side. Nothing will come easy against them.

I have no idea if they will be considered the favorite (probably will) but to me it doesn't mean much.
This season has brought zero clarity to me as to how good the team really is. They win a few in a row and look great, then they look awful in a loss. A few more great wins, then a week where they win a close one barely and lose one where they look like they don't care. Their roster looks as talented as any other in the league, yet the teams they will have to beat in the playoffs might have just as much talent in the key places.

The regular season, as many have thought, really doesn't mean much. The regular season is a time-killer. The Leafs regular season means as much as most other teams pre-season games. Game one of the playoffs I will have an open mind and really not consider much that has happened in the 6 or so months before.

Why wasn't the penalty shot rule always that a player is awarded a penalty shot to recreate the scoring chance then a 2 minute power play is awarded after if there isn't a goal on the penalty shot?
