Ugh, Orlov on Boston is nuts. Their defense is just so good. That team is going to be an absolute wagon in the playoffs and they're the ones that we have to beat to break the curse.

Yeah, this is a fantastic trade for them. They just got a lot better and a lot tougher to play against.

It sucks but we all knew Boston would make a move, right? I hate rentals in principle but if they ever make sense, IMO it's when your window is closing, and especially if you're favored to win anyway. That's exactly what Boston is, except I'm beginning to wonder if the window will ever close for those f***ers, what a nightmare that team is.

Everyone that predicted Boston would miss the playoffs raise your hand. And then get out of my sight.

Their core players seemingly just drink from the fountain of youth every offseason .. Marchand (34), Bergeron (37), Krejci (36) .. all their 2-4 scorers.

Helps that Pasta is having a career year but they hit gold with Lindholm. And Zacha's doing well (wish the Leafs' would have gotten him).

Those 3 players will retire one day

And just like that Bergeron scores a shorthanded goal to give Boston a 4-3 lead in the second against Seattle (assisted by Marchand)

Thompson's development into the player he is so wild .. Yes he had first round pedigree but his offensive development seemingly came out of nowhere
He was trending to be a third liner…and not even a good one…less than two years ago. Now he’s followed up his out of nowhere breakout season by topping those numbers with 1/4 of the season to go.

You can look at the reasons he improved…and they all make sense…but they don’t add up to this. This is one of those things that’s just nuts.

Tonight is another example that Boston can play any style of hockey and find a way to win. That is a key element to a complete team, and a team that can go deep in the playoffs.

They can win 2-1 in a tight defensive game.

They can win 6-5 in a barn burner.

They’re never out of their comfort zone in any situation.
