Eichel had his season on the line after never making the playoffs, and he put up 1 PP assist over his last 6 games, was a minus in every one of his last 4 games, and failed to even score in the shootout in each of his last 3 games.

Dallas is in, but they really didn't want it with the way they played the third period lol

I imagine big changes coming for Vegas this summer because they love to overreact
Nashville had a stiff schedule coming down the stretch. With Juuseout they haven on chance against either Calgary or Colorado.

Its bad for TV to have Vegas out, but I’m glad Eichel isn’t part of the playoffs. Hope they find a way to get rid of him.

So Vegas will trade Dadanov this offseason… wonder who else they’ll trade without telling.

They love to piss them off

Their biggest mistake was firing Gallant for DeBoer. It feels like things started to unravel from that point. He is the most overrated coach I think I have ever seen. I don't understand why they thought it was something they needed to do.

They 100% deviated from what made them so good and it goes to show if you have crappy player management, it's probably not going to be great for the players long-term. The way they handled and treated both Fleury and now Lehner is awful.

Now they are already over the cap going into next season. I'm sure they can peddle off Dadonov and other players for cap relief.

Don’t forget how they handled the Nate Schmidt trade

Funny that Vegas, with their season on the line, sends waiver claim Michael Amadio out for the shootout and leaves Dadanov, Karlsson, and Roy (who is 50% on the year) on the bench.

Amadio was 0/5 in attempts leading up to that.
I'm guessing it's because he (Roy), shot and missed both of the previous 2 games, although so did Eichel/Theodore and they were still in the first 3 shooters vs Chicago.

Crazy their playoff hopes end going 0 for 17 on the shootout in 3 straight SO losses.

Roy, Eichel, Theodore vs San Jose
Eichel, Theodore, Roy then Stephenson, Marchessault, Dadonov, Karlsson vs Dallas
Stone, Eichel, Theodore then Stephenson, Pacioretty, Marchessault, Amadio vs Chicago

If Boston wins and Tampa loses the Bolts might be forced to play Vasilevskiy tomorrow. It’s just the Islanders but things happen.

Can’t believe it’s going to be Boston again. I hate this playoff matchup system so much. Always the f***ing same matchup every time for Bettman and his f***ing “rivalries.”

If it's Boston I'm alright with it.

Better chance of winning in the first round.

They might be but I’m so sick of seeing black and f***ing yellow on the opposition jerseys. Three straight normal playoff series against these pricks. Did this even happen in the 80s? Variety is the spice of life and apparently it’s impossible for us to have a new matchup.

Don’t know why the world seems to be conspiring to keep a Leafs-Lightning playoff matchup from happening. It was on track in 2020 before the world went to shit and we blew it against Columbus. Would’ve last year to if we had done what we were supposed to but again, Leafs couldn’t get the job done.
