this was a good tilt b/w bennet and sargachev. hope our boys grow a pair too for the playoffs. sargachev not a fighter but stood up for himself. respect



P.S. may be as a leaf fan I should send some flowers to bennet for softening up sargachev though lol :laugh:

I wish we had gotten bennet instead of foligno last season man....

Serg is a dirty doochebag himself. Someone needed to straigthen him up

Man i wanted Bennett so badly last year. Cant believe he went for less than Foligno

He would have solved 3rd lune center and move Kampf down where he should be. And fix some toughness issue with decent hands

Unreal how easy of a matchup the Oilers get in that trash division.

It is possible that Quick goes 2012 god mode and pulls an upset though.

Last I heard during the broadcast, Sergachev went down the tunnel and never returned.

Just checked Twitter to see if there was any udpate...just saw this. I wonder if was solely about the cuts from the fight or if it's more than that? Big loss for Tampa if he's worse off than it appeared.

We thought the same thing with Habs last year

LA has some gem still. Quick still a very capable NHL goalie

They got soem really good players in Denault, Kampe and Iafallo

Kopitar isn't what he used to be, but he can still contribute and leads the team in scoring
Doughtey not sure if he's injured or not, but he still has game left

I would put money on them over Oilers.

Lowly habs will get of the hook with price and weber LTIRed/retired. That’s lots of cap money in these two lame horses…
 
Edmonton has two games left against pretty bad competition in San Jose and Vancouver. Unlike Oilers fans with Matthews I respect Draisaitl’s abilities as a player and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him tee off on both to try and surpass Matthews’ goal totals.

its still sad how they are tbh...i love draisalt and was super envious of them getting him.

He definitely will try to be on the hunt now for sure.
