The biggest reason I don't look forward to a Leafs/Bruins match-up will be the corrupt officiating...Leafs will get the short-end of the stick again by the refs...don't know how the NHL could run a league like this.
Definitely will be something that sucks about it....though thankfully we have an elite PK that can minimize the damage as much as possible

Nonetheless, MLSE needs to flex its power more for issues like this. It's ridiculous how much we get f***ed over

Supposedly Kucherov has the best catch and release in the league!! That's from the boston guy :(
I know you're basically saying the same thing but yeah of course they say that lol.

Clearly the guy leading the league isn't very good at that cause he's a Leaf...

f***ing announcers for some teams can never give any credit

Calgary is the same team they were in 2019- overrated, fool's gold

Their coach Sutter is an outdated dinosaur that still thinks it's 2004

Markstrom is no better than Mike Smith

I really hope the players hate the Bruins as much as we do. That loss in 2019 pisses me off to this day. It needs to drive us
That loss is the one that haunts me the most. It still boils my blood thinking about it... We had them on the ropes and let them go. When we lost game 6 I knew the series was over, it stung so much and it changed me forever as a fan. Even the Montreal loss, as embarrassing as it was, didn't pain me that much.

So many things went wrong.. idiotic Babcock coaching, Andersen shitting the bed in key moments and getting outplayed again, Gardiner shitting his pants, the penalty kill completely failing (Andersen certainly contributed) and the pathetic one sided reffing that ultimately led to Kadri's suspension. Naz was my favourite player and to have that be the last memory of him in a Leafs jersey is so god damn bitter.

I still remember the first 10 minutes of game 6, it was all Leafs and when they went up 1-0 on Rielly's goal the building was deafening and I really believed we were finally going to take them out. I was so disappointed when they lost that game and I watched game 7 alone and downed a bunch of Jameson to ease the eventual and predictable loss. That was one of the deepest teams the Leafs have had and if they made it past Boston they would've gone far IMO, I mean the Bruins ended up making the finals.

Durzi playing over 27 mins and 3 assists. Thats an incredible draft pick by Dubas.
If you compare Liljegren and Durzi, the offense is similar all though edge to Liljegren with no PP time, and defensively Durzi needs a ton of work while Liljegren is already excellent in that area. Liljegren is also younger.
LA also deserves credit for developing him. Dubas's top 2 draft picks in 2018 are now lock NHLers.

Precisely the biggest concern I have too. They let Chara run around punching our players in the back of the head and did nothing about it. Leafs try push back and we have Jake Gardiner getting a "3rd man in" penalty.

Game 6 2019 was probably the worst loss for me (I became numb to game 7 losses). I thought good things were ahead after the Rielly goal. But not even a minute later, we take a penalty (Ennis for holding?) and Marchand scores a flukey goal off Hainsey's leg on the PP. That sequence made me believe in curses lol
