The Avs firepower is ridiculous even without Landeskog and Kadri

Does anyone in the West stand a chance against them? I don't think any of those teams have a goalie who could maybe steal a series. But stranger things have happened so we'll see.

Andersen has been hurt every year the last 3 years and

Andersen since March 1st:

6-7
.901 save%
Now out with a possible knee injury on the eve of the playoffs.

The guy has been hurt every year the last 3 years so it's not really a surprise and him fading down the stretch isnt either as he's got a ton of miles on him now.

If Husso and Markstrom hold it together the Flames and Blues have a shot. Blues have really good scoring depth and the Flames are one of the top 5 on 5 teams in the league.

Blues are so slow, I'm not sure if they can contain the Avs. Husso is solid, though.

I think Calgary is mediocre outside of that top line. Colorado's depth might be too much

Brad Meier called his final game tonight, which is great news. He was absolutely terrible. Some of his highlights include that game 2 against Boston where DeBrusk got to run around until Kadri got fed up and crosschecked him, and that game against the Jets earlier in the year where Spezza got suspended. All in all, he was probably the worst official in the league currently

Harri Sateri

2 GP, GAA, 6.91, Save percentage, .809%.

Arizona really does like taking every one else's trash. That's karma for doing what they did.

Andersen being trash since March 1st? No shocker, he's getting prepared for a long (short) playoff run. If he even makes it.

I get a lot of the vitirol as normal rivalries , but holy these boards of the other Canadian teams have gone off the charts. I have listened to a lot of sports radio across the country for years because I can while I work and it’s been mostly fun anti Toronto nonsense but lately it’s been viscous. The hatred towards Toronto in general and Matthews in particular is psychotic. Even shows I normally enjoy like Melnicks afternoon show in Montreal are over the top friggin nutty, they say theyre kidding but they ain’t. If a Toronto station ever went after a Hab like that they would demand a government inquiry.lol

they'd probably secede from the country if even a 1/10 of the hate the leafs get was directed to the habs.

Anybody follow the Canucks? Can someone comment on Dermott's progress there? Is he top 4? Playing well?
He is okay. He is not pushing himself too much in the Ozone. Which is working in his favours as he often lose possession when he pinched.
He is also playing on the Right side.

This year has some teams with some extraordinary offenses. It's rare to see teams score 300+ goals in a season, but there's potentially going to be 4(!) team to do it this year in Florida, Colorado, Toronto and St. Louis.

Bonus points to Toronto for doing it with significantly less PP time than Florida and Colorado.
