Florida is really good but them beating up on a bad team isn't really that convincing to me.

What's more convincing is their 8-2-1 record against Washington, Tampa, NYR, Colorado, and Carolina

Funny enough half of their regulation losses have come against bad teams - Seattle, Ottawa, LA, and New Jersey
Unlike us losing to the worst team I. The league when they were short handed lol?

they should really shorten regular season and increase play offs with play in rounds

B's win, their 8th win in the last 9 games
FLA has won 7 of their last 8 and has points in all 8 games
TB has won 4 of their last 5

The Atlantic Div is a real battle ground and not a lot of room for mistakes where you have to play at .700 hockey pace or lose ground.

I am sure you couldn't be more excited about this! Your team is winning some games.
My team needs to beat St Louis tonight.

Boston went 5-0 with their 5 games in hand on the Leafs and now the standings are getting tight.

I was hoping the Leafs gap on Boston would be > 10 points by the time Rask returned from injury but we're sitting at only 3 now.

Leafs opposition playing at high level should be a motivating factor for Toronto to up their games as well.

21-7-2 in their last 30 (.733)
23-9-3 in their last 35 (.700) aka full season

Imagine having our best season, with what many consider the best ever team we've ever assembled and finishing 8th in the conference.

The East is a tough beast. Leafs have to be underdogs against any opponent when the playoffs roll around.

Always amusing to me how Mess is a ghost on these boards when the Leafs are playing well, but when we lose our first game in regulation in over a month, he's all over the boards with the out of town updates.

Oh well, at least most of the Lou/Islanders truthers on this board have mysteriously disappeared this season.

The Blue Jackets down 2-0 to Florida 5 minutes in. I look forward to the race for 9th. Maybe the Isles will go on a run. Oh wait they lost again too.
