GDT: Around the League - 2021/22 PART II

Also I don’t support owners who use and abuse players and then just toss them to the side when they need help. Sports owners are some of the most greediest humans on earth and aren’t saints either.

I believe when someone has a long history of doing insanely dumb things, and they get accused of doing something dumb again, it's highly likely they did what they were accused of.

As a professional hockey player, you can't just pack up and leave your city without notifying your team. Its insanely unprofessional. It's akin to you just going on vacation without telling your boss.

Again the Sharks haven’t outright said he packed up and left. They just said he travelled to Vancouver. He very well could have notified them those were his intentions to do so for the holidays and they didn’t like that idea and he went anyways. (Which I believe is probably the more likely scenario) We don’t know. So please stop assuming.

I’ll wait to see what happens, could care less about the termination. Just want to make sure he gets his money. Which I’m sure he will. San Jose’s been looking for a way to get out from underneath

nah, I’m pro player. f*** the owners. If he did something substantial then maybe but this is just them really looking for an excuse to get rid of the contract. It’s not even that big of deal.

If his contract gets knocked off, the money will just likely go to a more deserving player who isn't a trash bag of a human being.

again call him a trash bag, but lots of other NHL’ers are worse. It’s just his shit was made public, hope you have the same energy for all the other players who are doing coke daily and cheating on their wives.

Pretty sure he's the only one who faked a vaccine card. Has multiple sexual assault allegations against him. Misses practice because he wanted to party in Toronto for NBA all star weekend. So, you want to take people to task for "making assumptions" but then argue a ton of other NHLers are worse with no evidence.

I can't think of NHLers who are as terrible in a team environment given how much his teammates hated him in both San Jose and Winnipeg.

LOLLLL laughable man. If you think he’s the only player who’s been accused of sexual assault, partied too hard and missed practice idk what to tell you baud. All you gotta do is listen to a podcast like spittin chicklets to understand that a lot of these players do stupid shit all the time. They are just smart enough not to get caught. And if you actually know any professional athletes in real life you’d know this to be true as well. Evander isn’t the brightest, he’s pissed off a lot of people and his case is pretty public but I can confidently say he’s not even the worst person in pro sports. Not even close to it.

I know people who know Kane. These are just a small list of the shitty things he does.

I mean, he's not the worst person in pro-sports. He hasn't murdered anyone like Ray Carruth or Dion Sanders. But, there's a long list of trashy things. Let's put it this way, who is the last player in the NHL who has been essentially kicked out of 2 different locker rooms due to his teammates hating him?

Hopefully Nicky boy is watching and it motivates him further. As someone with a older brother I looked up to him a lot so don't see any negatives and his impact on Nick.

Stars easily have the best goal horn in the league and even the tune afterwards will get you fired up... maybe that's the key haha. But seriously our goal horn is fine albeit generic, the song afterwards is just awful and a new one would be appreciated.

Agree on the Stars goal horn. Same with the Avs, definitely top 5. They're both loud, the number of horn blasts matches the goal total, and the songs get the crowd involved

Lol it's not even like the Kings are the globetrotters. I mean Detroit isn't very good but thats just horrendous. On paper it should be a coin flip youd think, gun to your head pregame I doubt you'd be confident in either choice if you had to pick.

did you mean Ray Lewis? because im pretty sure primetime never killed anyone other than some wide receivers and QBs on the field looool
