I prefer Roy to stay in the AHL for now and Armia showed good attitude and skills in his short stint down (sucks for Laval though, seems he was a good veteran and mentor for the team).
For Mesar, it feels like it was only a matter of time before getting sent to the OHL. Reading you guys, it seems to be a better environment this year compared to last, so all good.

Very good decision for Mesar. Kitchener is so much better this year. If he can keep his effort at a decent level, this can only benefit him.
The smartest thing this organization should do is keeping Roy in Laval for at least a half of a season.

If Armia comes to Montreal and performs like a decent NHL'er, no one should ever question JF Houle's rep as a coach who develops.
Armia deserved NOT to make the team but he damn sure wasn't the only one. A very easy scapegoat

And an indirect 3rd good news by virtue of leaving Roy the hell alone for a little while! We're already seeing the "you have to call up Roy" in the media after his hot start. Glad management isn't swayed, hopefully he spends many good weeks in Laval before getting his look with the big team.

He deserved to be sent to Laval. And he's earned the call up due to his attitude and contribution to the team's offense.
%! He went down there, didn't sulk, fit right in and proved that he is too good for the AHL. I hope he realizes that he has to play with a desperate attitude. He can't look disinterested.Roy has to experience the true rigors of AHL hockey, long bus rides, 3 games in 3 nights.

This is the right decision for Mesar based on what he's shown so far. Hopefully he reports to the OHL and has a good season there.

Honestly I like to hate on Joel but he did double up and didnt sulk. Lets hope that was a wake up call for him.

The main thing I can confirm is that the coaching and environment in Kitchener right now is almost perfect for Mesar. So no more excuses. It’s on him to perform. (I’d give him a few games to adapt though as he missed their camp where Ahokas clearly made huge progress with the team).

Kid is still WJC eligible no? He's a late first, nothing out of the ordinary here. Looking at the next 15 picks and saying we should've picked this guy or that guy after 1 year and a few games isn't right IMO
