Arizona State to Host 2025 Ice Breaker Tournament
Arizona State will host the Ice Breaker for the first time in 2025.

Arizona State University announced today, in conjunction with the Hockey Commissioners Association and College Hockey Inc., that it will serve as the host institution for the men’s 2025 Ice Breaker Tournament.

Notre Dame, Quinnipiac and Alaska will also compete in the event, scheduled for Oct. 10-11, 2025, at ASU’s Mullett Arena in Tempe. ...

The Ice Breaker Tournament, which began in 1997, traditionally marks the beginning of the NCAA Division I men’s hockey season. The event brings together four teams, typically from different conferences, and is administered by College Hockey Inc. on behalf of the Hockey Commissioners Association. ...

Tickets for the 2025 Ice Breaker Tournament will go on sale at the conclusion of the 2024-25 season. ASU season ticket holders will have first rights to their seats during the renewal period.
