All of a sudden, that new FOREVER DON'T STOP banner at the Arena makes senseThat guy went to 2x conference finals over a quarter century ago and is still pulling a paycheque. Maple Leafs Forever indeed.
Like I said in 2019. Babcock was the wrong guy but when they fired him they basically just let the inmates run the asylum. This team doesn’t have any of those raw raw leaders.
Well he was the last player on this team to score a goalHoll think he's a shooter now?
Ya just a serious lack of players with a soulAt least we don’t have to worry about cap space for a bit
Season and playoffs are different beasts... there is good reason Trotz teams got places in playoffs. Keefe can keep trying to win hockey with puck possession perimeter hockey but what keeps killing this team in postseason is overpasses and giveaways. I tuned into highlights from game 1 and watched a bit of game 2 this season and saw Marner give the puck away on multiple occasions that led to better opportunities the other way than the one he attempted to make. A couple led to goals against. There the same plays that cost us in the playoffs. Both have highs and lows. Babcocks last season was unwatchable. This seems to be similar
One of the best teams in the league that year breaking out of the d-zone. Just couldn't score if their life depended on it.lol disagree, but that 2016 team was fun, they sucked and i loved them <3
ye, given their talent 29 wins( i think) was a very good result lolOne of the best teams in the league that year breaking out of the d-zone. Just couldn't score if their life depended on it.
Youre forcing a narrative to make yourself feel better. Theyre playing like shit thus year but this level of play in the playoffs would lead to blowouts and sweeps, not the series weve seenSeason and playoffs are different beasts... there is good reason Trotz teams got places in playoffs.
