The Coyotes are finishing all of their checks and the Leafs right now are living up to the stereotype they wilt when hit. They worked hard to break that last season and are showing signs of it again

Yeah, he's definitely gotten shots so far this season. But this is the defending Hart and Rocket winner. He's got one goal and it was a tip off a point shot. The sniper of the NHL has not actually shot a puck into the net yet. He's definitely been starting slow.

They have been dominating play and had lots of chances. Chances =/= shots on net.

They have been bad at putting the puck on net, I agree, but I think it's unlikely if they get the same zone time and chances that that will continue.

Okay we’ll use New York Rangers, Tampa, Calgary as better examples. They play north south hockey and shoot from everywhere. New York Rangers are a fancy team as well but they shoot a lot and from every where

Only 1 period abd the talent gap could see a 30-6 type shooting period for the leafs but it's still a shitty start vs a team actively looking to lose from managment abd coaching

That period stinks of arrogance. A team that know they are better than their opponent but did nothing to make them feel it.
