Currently watching Detroit play the reigning Stanley Cup champions (Florida Panthers) and all I can think about is how good of a hockey team these Red Wings are...

They've won 7 of their last 10 games, including against:
- Connor Bedard and his Blackhawks
- Mark Scheifele and his Jets
- Dylan Stromes Capitals.

I have them as my darkhorse going into the latter half of this season, sneaking into a playoff spot and stirring the pot in the playoffs

Lets go baby, wings hockey!

4-2 against the reigning champs.
Beat the #1 team in the Metro.
Beat the #1 team in the Central.

How long does the coaching bump usually last? It's been almost a month.

It has been a little over 2 weeks, Wings played their first game under the new coach on December 29th.

Obviously, Lalonde was a disaster, and he should have been fired the minute the Red Wings decided they had tanked enough to be bound to improve, especially with the bottom half of the Eastern Conference being what it is. But wagon they are not, and Buffalo manages to win 10 in a row almost yearly.

their response against following a bad showing against san jose is encouraging. Still early. Would like to see how they react back once the league makes its adjustment to them.

Also, it's the goddamn 82 game regular season of the nhl. All teams lose to lesser teams multiple times throughout the season. Maybe wait more than winning 7( not even in a row).
