Bobby McMann and Joe Woll say hi. McMann is behind stars so he doesn't get those PP minutes OP guys get and also he is in the Berube system. When he prices himself out of Toronto people will learn about him.

Woll is our starter at 800k caphit and that is not ELC.

Knies plays with Matthews and Marner. McMann has mostly been on the third line with Domi and Robertson

Is there a reason why you're just blatantly telling lies?

Woll is not your starter. Stolarz is. Woll was the starter then Stolarz was hurt. When both are healthy, Stolarz gets more starts than Woll.

McMann has not mostly been on the 3rd line. He's been on the 2nd line with Tavares and Nylander, just like he is right now.

What is the point of this?

The same could be asked of you because Woll and Stolarz are splitting starts because they are a tandem.

Kirill Marchenko

$3.85m for this and the next two years

55 games, 23 goals, 59 points, +33 rating (second in the NHL)

Kent Johnson

$1.80m for this and the next two years

44 games, 19 goals, 39 points

The Jackets finally struck gold
Yeah those are insane value. Two of the best in the league.

Love to see it, also saw Lindstrom was skating again, hopefully he can get healthy and be a beast for you guys as well

If you are just looking short term, sure. Marchenko especially is pretty hard to beat as an all around guy for cheap. Start looking long term and they fall off fast just due to how short the deals are

Uhh, who says Stolarz is the starter? Only time he was the starter was when Woll was hurt early season. They have split games if anything in a rotation, but Woll has played 2x the games as Stolarz so he is kind of our starter. Woll is also more proven in the playoffs.

McMann floats around a lot of spots. Facts are, he doesn't get much for PP time and doesn't get the prime minutes the OP players get.

The point of this is to reply to a thread about bargain cap hits...

Putting aside the question on who the starter is, $3.266M for both Stolarz & Woll.

Pretty incredible deal for the Leafs considering how hard it is to find good-to-great goaltending right now.

Good young players that are still on rookie deals/bridge deals are generally cheap and good value, yes.

Not to be a party pooper but I actually think it's kinda bad for CBJ that these contracts are lasting a few more years.

In that time, the cap will shoot up+those two players will continue to improve, so they will end up asking for giant salaries. If their contracts were finishing this year, then CBJ could lock them up for relatively cheap compared to how much they would have earned once the cap goes way up.
