i think every type of comedy in the history of cinema has had at least one fart joke, sometimes they make you chuckle, sometimes they make you moan ala Adam Sandler fart jokes, but if performed right you could possibly make a really good fart joke and laugh so hard that you yourself could fart out of the excitement of a fart joke I mean why else would comedians come together to write down a script where they have a certain character fart also do the actors themselves make the fart sound effects or do they use stock sound effects that you could easily find on YouTube so there lies the question are fart jokes the pinnacle of comedy
