Yeah. I believe we'll be treated to a round 2 next time the two teams play each other againDamn, too bad the net was in the way. Would of loved to see these two go toe to toe.

It looked like Arber was shoving him towards the net to knock him down in order to secure top position. I think he did it purposely to avoid an extended exchange with Reaves. This way it looks like he had control.Saved by the net, looked like Arber was about to take over there.
You can conclude that Xhekaj at 22 is unafraid to take on Reaves. You can conclude that Reaves will have to be prepared to go when he's running around laying hits. You can conclude that other teams have taken note and the days of "testing" Xhekaj should be well over. You can also conclude that as a strategy, Xhekaj closes the gap and won't go toe to toe but rather use his strength to force his opponent off balance and then teeing off. He got beat by DLo last year because he didn't close that gap. You can also conclude that one is only going to get better while the other is in decline. Not sure how anyone is drawing any conclusions from this “fight”.
Gives us no real clue how an actual toe to toe battle would go between the two.
Knowing how Arber fights he was going to try ragdolling him.It looked like Arber was shoving him towards the net to knock him down in order to secure top position. I think he did it purposely to avoid an extended exchange with Reaves. This way it looks like he had control.

Certainly I am looking at it from a homer perspective. There’s a lot to like about his game. The protection factor is very comforting. Not so much from the Reaves type players, but rather the other guys that don’t want to be picked out of a scrum or usually takes an extra poke in front of the net. At 22, it’s pretty rare and quite frankly something the Habs have lacked since Lyle Odelein.I think the stock you’re putting into it is almost exclusively because you’re a Habs fan.
And I’d be doing the same thing if I were a Habs fan quite frankly.
Haven’t looked at your post history or anything, so if you’re not actually a Habs fan, nevermind what I said haha
The guy is being treated like royalty since signing in Toronto. They talked about him like he was a huge add ever since he signed, he was talked about non-stop in the pregame and intermissions, and he was a huge focus from commentary during the game too, for a guy who played 8 minutes. That's where the arrogance comes from.I like Reaves, too, but he's gotta cut out the post fight shit.
He's got this arrogance about him when he comes out flexing and doing little hand gestures after a fight where he ended up on his ass. It's weird how he didn't really do any of this when the league was made up of legit HW's.
Very much a nothing fight. I’d love to see these guys go off the draw and squared up. End of shift, Reaves started off his knees, I don’t know how anyone can call a winner here. Was however disappointed Reaves didn’t push for round 2 last night.
Didn't happen because Reaves did not do anything stupid afterward. Wifi is not someone going around on the ice looking for a fight, a la John Kordic, he is actually a legit D. But the message last night was, if you hit someone on my team badly, no matter who you are I'm going to punch you in the face.Very much a nothing fight. Reaves only got 8mins ice time and Arber had 17 minutes in penalties. Other than once when they collided, yapped and then skated away from eachother, I don’t recall them being on the ice together much.
He rag dolled Reaves. No one wants to be shoved around like Reaves was but he was overpowered. It looked like Arber was shoving him towards the net to knock him down in order to secure top position.
