I think he'll be a clone of Kaberle execpt not on Toronto.

He was never hyped to be the next Lidstrom, it was a quote taken out of context by Sens/Habs fans to take shots at the Leafs. His coach said he could dominate a game in the way Lidstrom could, never compared them as players.

I think his ceiling is kinda a more physical Kaberle, he isn't that big, but has no issues throwing big hits (Vince Lecavalier can agree). He has some serious offesive talent, but has issues on the smaller rink. In the big, international ice he looks like an allstar out there.

A more physical Karberle, but with less offensive potential. He probably won't reach it in Toronto though.

Look for him to break out next year if Kaberle or Kubina gets dealt. I can't say enough about this guys potential, he just needs to improve defensively to be a solid NHLer.

I really don't want to see him go. He's the replacement for Kaberle that Burke's been looking for.

I suspect he'll just end up being trade bait for Burke, but I still think he's on course to be a top pairing D in the future.

You should see this guy on the PP if you havent? He's great along the blueline IMO.

Also, I don't think a Kabby comparison is that good... they really are different players... that are similar in some ways... maybe in Production, but thats about it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but:
Stralman is Faster
Stralman is more Physical
Probably will be better defensively

Kaberle is a better QB. (with long passes and stuff)
Kaberle obvisouley has a lot more experience...

I see 10-15 goal, 40-50 assist potential on Stralman.

He reminds me of Kronwall a little bit, except he's more of a shooter. I agree that Kaberle isn't a great comparison, except for the fact that he'd have to take over his role.
