Kings will win a lot of games soon, right? Eeh, Devils sucked even more at SO's in 13-14.

Not only do the Los Angeles Kings have the worst OT/shootout record (3-15) in the NHL this year...they have the worst OT/SO winning % since 2005-06, when the league adopted the shootout. That's out of 300 possible teams!

Are you referring to this article? Since that piece was published (1/30/15), the Kings have been 9th in the league in points earned. Not bad, but you're right, not good enough.

For what it's worth, since 2/7/15 (when LA started their eight-game winning streak), they're tied for 4th in the league in points earned...but that may end up being worth nothing, all said.

It sucks. I still maintain that these Kings, for all their issues, are one of the best teams in the league. It would've been a joy to watch them make another run, especially armed with a healthy Sekera and Pearson.
