Perhaps I'm wrong, but I believe we're approaching another significant regular season record; Sittler and MacDonald didn't do it. Gilmour and Andreychuk were within one point of it.

Matthews and Marner are approaching the milestone as the first Leafs players to score 100 points each in a single regular season.

You’re correct. 9 points from Marner will do the trick. He has 8 games to do it.

Would be a great feat. Even more impressive since Marner can only play max 73 games this year and started off slow. Took off after, though. Has 70 points in his last 39 games.
