Prospect Info: Annual Prospect Ranking Palooza

It's the annual ranking! This is not the poll - this is where the poll results will go. The polling will begin on Sunday afternoon, Nebraska time, once the rookie camp concludes and everyone has had a chance to digest the reports. Each poll be open for 48 hours. In the event of a tie, a 24-hour runoff will be held. The winner will get the open spot; the loser will go back into the pool, not get the next-lowest rank. The poll will go up to #25.

Prior years results (that I could find):
2004-05 Lockout II Edition
2010 Edition
2011 Edition
2012 Edition
(if anyone can find other years, let me know and I'll add them)

The Hockey News just listed the Ducks top 10 prospects not close to HF board voting.
1. Gibson
2. Lindholm
3. Rakell
4. Vatanen
5. Theodore
6. Noesen
7. Holland
8. Karllson
9. Sorenson
10. Wagner

They left out Etem.
Etem is only on ours because we use HF's standard for eligibility. They left off Silfverberg as well, so I'm guessing that it's with NHL standard.

From the look of things, they would put Wagner where I would at 12. I'm more surprised that Kerdiles isn't on their top ten.

American kid drafted out of the USHL, playing in the NCAA?

They must like Theodore, too. Right below Vatanen(who has a number of years on him), but above Karlsson, Noesen, holland Holland. Not to mention Kerdiles, who isn't ranked.

I don't really know what their track record is at evaluating college kids. They caught on to Wagner, so I'll give them credit for at least following them when they hit the minors.
