Jones. I think he's a fairly sure thing to be an NHL contributor with a chance to be a high-end second-pairing guy.

Kravtsov is probably the most purely-talented player in our system, but the concerns about whether he truly has the desire to put in the work to make it in North America has me wary. I'd put Jones, then Othmann, then Kravtsov (I'd have Othmann ahead of Jones but it's not to be).

i actually agree about othmann over jones.

and i do worry about his desire, but man his talent is undeniable and he has size. For me that is why i have him so high. His potential is just that much greater than anybody else here. But the risk is too.

Yeah, I agree about potential. Although I also wasn't quite as high on him as others were. Where some saw a 70-80 point gamebreaker, I saw a 55-point two-way play-driving machine. I think he can still theoretically be that, but the risk you mentioned is too great for me to have him any higher. I understand why others do, though.

I think Kravtsov is still a legitimate top-5 prospect on this team, just no longer 2nd behind Lundkvist.

I think the leaps Jones has made put him ahead of Kravtsov at this point.

Yeah, I was pretty sure most of Othmann’s voters would give their votes to Jones (who was leading over Kravtsov anyway).

Jones. For all the talk about Kravstov's upside, I believe Jones has a very high upside as well. The kid doesn't get the hype because he's not a speedster or a bruiser, but extremely intelligent players will always carve out a valuable role in the NHL.

Kravstov is an entitled baby. Maybe he grows out of it eventually, but there's absolutely no sign of that being the case at the moment. I really hope he becomes a valuable player for our club, but character matters, and it drops him a tier in my personal rankings.
