They're guaranteed as long as you play them out. If he agreed to end to contract to try to sign cheap somewhere else, they are agreeing to terminate the deal and money owed.

If he passes through waivers he can be designated for assignment to the AHL. If he doesn’t report he will not get paid. It being a one way contract only ensures the amount of his pay is the same in the ahl.

Got a weird feeling Calgary will claim him. They just put Mantha on LTIR done for the year. Huberdeau always did best with a burner like Duclair to back off a D and make more space

Guy skates like the wind. That is the only possible of his game unfortunately. AHL is where he belongs.

They are guaranteed if you play. He'll either make a bunch of money riding busses or he'll get "hurt" and sign a pto somewhere next year after a miraculous rehab stint.

As long as they're willing to play ball with like a 5th round pick, they could get someone better without the cap issues of AA
Flames have about 19million cap space and AA´s contract ends after this season. They could do it.
