There’s basically no downside. Worst case he’s buried in the minors, best case he stays fit and finds his game. He’s shown flashes and has the potential to stake his claim, it’s more of a long shot than before but it wouldn’t be shocking if he earned a spot. The harder thing to figure out is who’s spot he’d take…

Grundström is a no brained.

Awesome! Grundy did well last season for what he was given. I hope he sticks in the lineup next season. With Lias, the skill is there. I really hope he puts it all together. I’ll be rooting for him!

Lias is the gift that keeps on giving. He costs a 1st round pick, a 2nd round pick, a potential NHL roster spot and a lost silver medal.
