..and he was the problem in Toronto... amirite? ;)

I feel bad for him the way he left TO...
No need to feel bad. The lucky ones are the ones who got out. Both he and Hyman are having elite seasons so far. The GM decided they were not as important as his coddled overpaid stars. If I'm a player on this current team I get out as soon as I get an opportunity. This place is a completely mess.

Nah we'll win tomorrow, its poetic justice that the game where we get our mojo back is against our former goalie.

The team will do what it takes to reinforce Campbell as the right choice between the pipes and we start our true hockey journey for the season tomorrow night.

For if we lose tomorrow, especially by shutout, I'm just going to walk away for a while. Big game.

Time to show some f*cking Character tomorrow night.

There is likely to be a familiar player on the other side of the ice for a fair number of games in any given season. It would be great to win this one purely in the interest of righting the ship.

If they treat Feddie like their did Ayres, they will be 2-4-1 overall and 0-3-1 vs teams outside the Northern division.

I watch a lot of the Canes and they are a fast, hard working, disciplined team. They’ll probably play like crap tomorrow.

If leafs lose tomorrow night (which I think they will) people are gonna lose their minds. And I would be happy for Freddie. He was right , there's something going on in Toronto., and I bet it's Marner's attitude.

There’s no doubt in my mind Freddie is better than Toronto’s current goalies. I wouldn’t have paid him 6mill but 4.5 x 2 was definitely a fair deal. Too bad Toronto can’t manage the cap properly to make the right decisions.

If only we could do some kind of controlled experiment where the exact same team plays in front of Freddie and Campbell to test this hypothesis.

Leafs and Canes have played in some barn burners recently. Might be good to just play an all out offensive game to get some of our stars going. A 7-6 win would be perfect imo.
Really, just looking for 60 minutes of effort at this point ffs.

Freddy will feel pressure in this game I bet and let in a couple softies but will make some great saves too no doubt.

Glad he's doing well. He had some really great stretches here, too. Odd people think his play over a handful of games - play he's done several times before - is somehow reflective on last year's team.
