To summarize, Palmieri scored, but it went off the back post/camera, and the ref didn't see it. Lindholm walked to the middle of the ice and scored four seconds later. Lindholm ended up getting an assist on the first goal.

Pretty neat

Was it a major?
If it was then they could score as many PP goals as they can in the timespan

The Anaheim player shot, he scored but the refs did not see it. Seconds later they moved it around the point, and another Anaheim player scores again.

To be fair, they were about 4 seconds apart and everyone basically stopped playing because the first shot was clearly in.

This thread should have been about the ref calling Anaheim Atlanta though.

Rieder scored two shorthanded goals on the same shift this year. Also Anaheim only scored one goal. The second didn't count.

-Literally twice in the same shift, without a whistle.

Ok, I get it now. Same thing here. Wasn't exactly sure what OP meant.

I seem to remember a playoff game a year or so ago where a player scored undetected and then another player scored seconds later.

Yeah, it wasn't very clear. Anaheim was also on a 5-on-3, and I do think the Toronto players let up knowing Palmieri scored. The defensemen in front of the net, at least, let up. I don't think the goalie had any idea either way.

And then the ref accidentally called Anaheim Atlanta. He seemed a tad embarrassed about it.

Yeah, the Leafs all knew the Palmieri snipe went in and then all of a sudden, Lindholm has it and fires it in 4 seconds later.
