If it's not a first rounder or top end prospect, I think it will be fine from your end. Teams have given up firsts to rent lesser Dmen at the deadline. Worst case scenario, you can probably flip him for a decent return next year.

There's some logic in that in order to add Fowler they'd have to get one Krug or Leddy to waive. So... someone must have if this is coming up

All the best to Cam, sad to see him moved at 991 games as a Duck, but this had to happen. His minutes can be absorbed by younger Dmen and the more physical vets the Ducks have acquired (Gudas, Trouba, Dumoulin).

We needed to get fowler off the team…. Can’t be sitting zellweger/lacombe and Mintyukov nightly.

Cam has been pretty bad in Anaheim…. Honestly prob the only way we could get a 2nd was something in the future.

I expect we move the pick for forward help tho

Ducks have made a ton of picks in recent years and are deep with prospects at all positions. Makes sense to spread things out a bit, already running into some log jams.
