You'd have to think a D goes back to Anaheim.
Krug contract back ?
That makes a ton of sense. He's LTIR for the whole year so it makes sense for both sides that way, considering the direction of both teams

Plus, long term it makes sense that they see Broberg filling that roll. Maybe Fowler in the short term

Doesn't Fowler stink? What is STL doing

He was force fed #1 mins (24+ per game) on one of the worst rosters ever. I don't think he'd be a bad 2nd pair, 2nd PP Dman (can also PK) with a fresh start on a better club.

Other than when the Lindholm - Manson emerged as a top shutdown pairing for awhile, Fowler has had to spend a large portion of his career miscast as a #1 D, with a pile of lesser partners. Will be interesting to see him in a different setting

Maybe in a separate deal, but the Ducks are unloading Fowler because they currently have 8 NHL D and are having to rotate their young puck movers (Mintyukov/Zellweger/Lacombe) out of the lineup.

The Ducks need help up front - scoring, faceoffs, size+speed
