Do future considerations actually have any true value, at all? I thought it was just a place holder so something is "technically" offered from both teams.
I see it as maybe a negotiating chip in some form down the line. Maybe give a 3rd instead of a 4th, as part of a non-related trade, being the future consideration.
I could see it play out during the draft in giving an 87th pick instead of an 89th pick, (having both), when moving up or down.
