This is the reason, we only have 13 healthy forwards now with him, and our AHL team is in last place with multiple injuries, so better to stash some random 32 year old in the pressbox rather than a young player, or further depleting the Gulls

Really just short on bodies up front, have gone 11F 7D due to injuries (Lundestrom, Grant and Comtois are out at the moment). Regenda was sent down to the AHL, assumption is that they prefer to have him playing top 6 with the Gulls for now, rather than on the Ducks 4th line.

Some of us thought that Benoit - Olivier Groulx could have been recalled for some NHL action, but I guess they are choosing not to make an already young forward group, even younger for now.
