Seems weird move for Chicago…. I’d imagine they are patient on dach.

Also don’t know if I’d trade perreault/pastujov for what dach has done so far

Both teams prob pass unless ducks really have a good scouting report on dach that has the believe he’ll be much better soon

Dach is 1C over Zegras? Interesting take…..
Ya idk that the trade makes much sense.

Lundy is a reliable 3c…. Mctavish/zegras look like they will be better than dach… and we should end up with a top 10 pick this year, which could end up being another center depending on how the draft goes.

Really not much interest in dach, the wingers perreault/pastujov might be more important to us going forward

At the same time Chicago prob should wait and see with dach

Depends on how Anaheim values Perreault and Pastujov. But they are thin in talent and deep at centre position (as you have said) so there is no reason to move 2 prospects out for a c.

My initial thoughts were:
1) Chicago would want more
2) Ducks shouldn't give up what they would want
3) Ducks should develop the young C's they have (Zegras, McTavish, Lundestrom, Groulx) and not spend resources on another (unless it's BPA with a draft pick)

Would love to add Dach, but he's not worth the cost to the Ducks. Anaheim needs to add goal scoring wings, toughness/puck retrieval, and defensive/physical d-men to compliment the young guys on the team or coming up.

Get why Hawks fans don't want to do this trade, but as a Ducks fan, I don't think I would either. Stolie is great, and if we consider a Gibson trade, he definitely needs to stick around. Really don't care about Beaudin, we just have so many internal young LHD that are battling/will soon be battling spots that he's just redundant at this point. And while I certainly wouldn't mind having Dach, he appears to be trending in the wrong direction and we're perfectly fine with centers with Zegras, McTavish, and Lundestrom. What we don't have are high-upside wingers.

Hawks fan here saying no to the trade, and I think the Ducks have 2 centers to build around in Zegras and McTavish. You guys don't need Dach. Great start to your rebuild.
I mean obviously if a guy like dach is available you go for him either way, but we really need wingers to surround zegras and mctavish, and pastujov and perreault are our 2 top winger prospects
