THE SEASON OF GIVING

I can't wait for Christmas time!
I saved my quarters, nickels, dimes
To buy a gift for my dear wife
Whose cancer soon will take her life.
Tonight I'll hang above the door
A mistletoe, or something more...
Perhaps a noose to end it all.
I kick the chair and down I fall!
